THE MITZVAH TECHNIQUE TODAY
Today people are seeking a way to preserve not only their health but also their youthful posture. The Mitzvah Technique is beneficial in this area of self care. Using the technique to re-educate the body is non-invasive and relatively inexpensive. The learned Mitzvah Technique maintains restructured and revitalized bodies, even after invasive procedures.
There is a Mitzvah Technique Teachers Training Course. The course certifies Teachers of the Mitzvah Technique. The Mitzvah Technique has been offered by Faculties of Medicine at two major Canadian Universities as an elective for first, second and third year medical students. There are Certified Mitzvah Technique Teachers located across Canada. The Mitzvah Technique has attracted international attention, especially since its presentation at The Twentieth and Twenty First World Congress of Natural Medicines. Over the last several years Certified Teachers have conducted lectures and taught in the United States, Japan, Israel and Hong Kong. Last year a doctor who runs a pain clinic in New Zealand visited Toronto for the sole purpose of acquiring insight into the Mitzvah Technique.
It is over 100 years since F. M. Alexander (1869-1955) drew attention to health degradation brought about by faulty posture. Medical science has still not done enough to deal with this problem. There is urgent need to encourage awareness as a preventive measure against the onslaught of postural related problems in later life.
It is our hope that greater cognizance will be taken of the recent insights of M. Cohen Nehemia. He is willing to participate in further testing of his discovery. The Mitzvah Exercise and Technique are universally available and much needed as low cost health care measure.
